Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) awarded Corval Group to be the General Contractor for the addition of a 750 KW non-condensing steam turbine generator set including associated turbine generator control panel in the Solids Management Building (SMB).
Scope of work included addition of Generator Interconnection Circuit Breaker in existing switch gear lineup; General Circuit Breaker switch gear; turbine generator room within the SMB Building with related building modifications; electric monorail trolley/hoist for maintenance of turbine generator equipment; ventilation system for turbine generator room; modifications of associated high pressure steam and auxiliary systems piping, valves, actuators, controls, instrumentation equipment, conduit, cables, conductors and terminations associated including interface with plant process and control system.
